On one Sunday morning at about 6 plus in the morning, I got a call from my sister. With great urgency she told me that her husband had a stroke and they were on their way to the hospital. She described how my brother-in-law was numb on the left side of the body without movement there and he was slurring - all symptoms of stroke.
"God graciously saw me through my pregnancy and took care of baby Abigail."
I decided to visit NLCC as I had heard from my church mates that NLCC had its Freedom service every Friday where one could pray and worship freely in the Spirit. That evening was my first experience to pray for my church mate and he received as special touch by the Holy Spirit.

I pray that this amazing testimony will deepen your faith and strengthen you to believe our God is a God of the Impossible. This happened on 9 June 2007 in our church sanctuary at 7.30pm. This is a true story that involved me, my wife, Ping and 3 other ministers, Eric and Ginny Hanson from the U.S and Gracie Mak. The way God had uniquely made the raising of this dead person was to show our church and our city of Singapore that He is pouring out His mercy and grace to whoever wants to be saved, healed and blessed.
Psalms 18:17 “He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.”

I was in debt for many years. It started in my late 20s when I was doing very well. I would spend tomorrow’s money for today; never knowing the importance of money. The D–day came when I lost my job. I had accumulated a huge amount of debt by that time. I was not a Christian then and did not know who Jesus really was. I would use my own wisdom to roll the money until the day the bubble burst.
