On one Sunday morning at about 6 plus in the morning, I got a call from my sister. With great urgency she told me that her husband had a stroke and they were on their way to the hospital.  She described how my brother-in-law was numb on the left side of the body without movement there and he was slurring - all symptoms of stroke. 

 

What an amazing God we serve! For a person to walk out of the hospital 2 days after he suffers a stroke. The only reason this could have happened was God acting in response to prayer and fasting. I believe that God in His grace and mercy heard our cry for this miraculous healing as the church was at that time just completing it's 40-day corporate fasting and prayer. So many different people participated and prayed. It is my belief that when we pray and fast, the church, by God's grace, releases His power for miracles and healings to take place. That is why every single person who participated in this 40 days of prayer and fasting was involved in the miracle and healing we saw in my brother-in-law.

I am especially grateful to God and the prayers of the church for this wonderful healing. Thank you Jesus for your tremendous love and intervention in a person's precious life.
