Salvation Steps

God loves you.  His plan for you is that you have a future and a hope, and this can
only be found in His Son, Jesus, who died for your sins.  Only Jesus can save.
All you need to do is to receive Him as your Savior and to follow Him with all your heart.

Follow these Salvation Steps today:

1. Acknowledge: Lord Jesus, I admit that I’m a sinner who is helpless and I need Your mercy and for You to “save” me.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
"God be merciful to me a sinner" (Luke 18:13).

2. Repent: I am sorry for my sins and disobedience to You. I turn towards You, God, and ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing.

"Unless you repent, you too will all perish" (Luke 13:3).
"Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins will be wiped out" (Acts 3:19).

3. Confess: I speak out that You, Jesus, are Lord – and that You came to die on the cross for my sins and rose on the third day – You are alive now and You want to give me a new life.

"If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9). 
"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

4. Forsake: I choose to turn away from and leave behind my old sinful habits and lifestyle.

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon" (Isaiah 55:7).

5. Believe: I put my faith and trust in You, God, knowing and believing that in You there is eternal life.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

6. Receive: I accept Your gift of eternal life and know that I am Your child from this day onwards.

 “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:11, 12).

Summation Prayer of Salvation:  "Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and I ask for Your forgiveness. I receive You now as my personal Savior and invite You to manage my life from this day forward. Amen."
